Citizenship of Austria

Requirements and documents for obtaining Austrian citizenship:

  2. Required documents:
    - passport,
    - birth certificate,
    - marriage certificate,
    - all applicants must submit a certificate of no criminal record,
    - a detailed summary, data on previous activities, as well as recommendations.
  3. The Austrian Citizenship Law requires renunciation of previous citizenship in order to obtain an Austrian passport, but in the case of citizenship by investment in accordance with Article 10 (6) of the Austrian Citizenship Law, the applicant has the right to retain his current citizenship.
  4. Due diligence checks. The timing of consideration of applications for Citizenship depends on many factors. Applicants receive full Austrian citizenship based on a government decision and can immediately apply for a passport.

Cost of support for obtaining Austrian Citizenship:

  • 100,000 euros per applicant;
  • 200,000 euros for spouse and applicant;
