Citizenship of Montenegro

Montenegro is a small country for a wonderful holiday and one of the popular summer tourist destinations. Montenegro is located on the Adriatic coast of the Balkan Peninsula, in the southeastern part of Europe and has land borders with Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Albania. The investment program allows you to quickly obtain Montenegrin citizenship. It is required to pay for the selected investment project, as well as to pay for the support service and not have any convictions or lawsuits at the time of applying for Citizenship.

OBTAINING CITIZENSHIP OF MONTENEGRO THROUGH INVESTMENTS.

The Montenegrin citizenship by investment project is the most affordable in Europe.

Under this program, there are two options for buying real estate:

  1. purchase of an object worth at least 450,000 euros in the south of the country or in Podgorica;
  2. purchase of an object worth at least 250,000 euros in the north or in the central part of the country (excluding the capital).

It is necessary to make an additional 200,000 euros in the charitable state contribution. Only real estate objects that are approved by the Government of Montenegro and are suitable as foreign investments fall under the program, and investments should be directed only to certain objects that are entered into the database on a monthly basis.

Additional requirements for candidates:

the program is not suitable for citizens of the European Union;
the applicant must not be on the sanctions lists;
a certificate of non-conviction must be without records;
no lawsuits at the time of applying for Citizenship;
documents confirming the legal origin of funds;
the applicant has a good bank credit history;
due diligence should not reveal additional negative information about the applicant.

STATE FEES FOR SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS FOR CITIZENSHIP OF MONTENEGRO:

  • EUR 15,000 per applicant;
  • EUR 25,000 for a married couple without children;
  • EUR 35,000 for a married couple with one child;
  • EUR 45,000 for a married couple with two children;
  • 55,000 euros for a married couple with three children;
  • 50,000 euros for each next dependent family member.

It is possible to submit dependent children under 26 years old, as well as dependent parents.

VERIFICATION FOR APPLICATION OF DOCUMENTS FOR CITIZENSHIP OF MONTENEGRO.

Due Diligence is a program for checking the integrity of an investor. Where information is collected and an expert assessment of possible investment risks takes place. The procedure is mandatory for all applicants. The costs of this program do not include state fees and notary fees, these costs are paid separately:

  • 7,000 euros per applicant;
  • 10,000 euros for a family of up to four people;
  • 1,500 euros for each next dependent family member.
