TYPES OF RESIDENCE PERMIT:

Documents for an initial residence permit must be submitted in the territory of the country of citizenship.
A residence permit is issued for a year.

List of documents to apply for a residence permit:

valid foreign and Russian passports for at least 3 years;

certificate of no criminal record in the Czech Republic;

certificate of no criminal record in Russia;

insurance policy with a coverage amount of at least 30,000 euros;

bank statement on the availability of funds in the account;

documents on the purchase of real estate in the Czech Republic or on the rental of real estate for a period of at least a year.

All documents must be translated into Czech by an apostilled translator.
The consulate may request additional documents, namely those defining the right to obtain a residence permit, and this may be a certificate of opening and registration of a company or documents confirming admission to an educational institution or employment in the Czech Republic.
