  2. an investment of at least 500,000 euros in a new Luxembourg company and it is mandatory to create and maintain at least five jobs for three years;
  3. - a deposit of at least 20,000,000 euros in a financial institution in Luxembourg for a period of at least five years;
  4. investments from 3,000,000 euros in an existing or new investment or management structure with an operating office in Luxembourg.

Option to reside in the country for personal reasons for financially independent applicants, without the possibility of employment in the country:

  1. It is required to prove the availability of financial means, and the regular income must be at least 27,000 euros per year;
  2. It is required to have a permanent residence in Luxembourg, property insurance for rented or purchased property, as well as liability risk insurance.

Submit an application under the Residence by Investment program to the Ministry of Finance or the Ministry of Economy of Luxembourg

Visit Luxembourg within 90 days of receiving the permit;

Pass a medical examination;

Apply for a residence permit;

Register with the municipality of your place of residence within three days of your arrival.

The processing time for an application for a residence permit is five/six months from the date of application to its approval.
A residence permit is issued for a three-year program "Residence by investment" and for one year the option of residence for personal reasons with the possibility of extension.
To extend the residence permit, you must provide evidence of staying in the country for at least six months a year.

Citizenship of Luxembourg

Investors can apply for Luxembourg Citizenship after five years of residence in the country. The last year prior to the application for citizenship, you need to live in Luxembourg continuously.

To obtain citizenship, you must pass a test for knowledge of the Luxembourgish language and take an integration course.
