Residence permit of Netherlands through investment

The migration policy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands allows investors who have fulfilled all the conditions of the Aliens Act to obtain a residence permit. To obtain a residence permit in the kingdom, you must confirm the legal grounds for immigration and income that will be sufficient to support life in the country.   • Family reunion:

    Residence permits in the Kingdom of the Netherlands can be obtained by employees and trainees, as well as religious figures and immigrants on the basis of an internal corporate transfer. Job seekers purchase a combined residence and work permit (GVVA) in the country. To obtain the required status, the employer must issue a work permit for the employee, and the required income level for foreign specialists must be at least 2,000 euros. The validity period of this residence permit is 12 months.


  • Doing business:

    This Dutch residence permit will be available to those who have founded an innovative business project that must meet the criteria of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). The applicant is required to provide the Migration and Naturalization Service with a detailed business plan, data on the financial viability of the applicant and registration of the startup with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The required income of the applicant must exceed 2631 euros per month. The issued residence permit is valid for 12 months, and then it is possible to obtain a residence permit of an independent entrepreneur for a period of two years.



  • Training:

    This residence permit can be obtained upon admission to an educational institution in the kingdom recognized by the IND. This residence permit can be obtained by those enrolled in local universities or preparatory courses at educational institutions in the kingdom, as well as foreigners who participate in academic mobility programs. In addition to the certificate of admission, the student of the educational institution is required to provide information on income of at least 958 euros per month. For those who study in secondary and secondary specialized institutions, the minimum monthly income should be from 787 euros per month. Citizens of the European Union, EEA and Switzerland, as well as members of their families, have priority in obtaining permanent residence permits in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

  • Refugee:

    This type of residence permit in the Netherlands will be available to applicants who are persecuted in their country of permanent residence for religious, racial, political or other reasons. To be granted refugee status, a foreigner always undergoes pre-registration at the Application Center (AC) upon arrival in the kingdom. The main condition for the investor is that the financed facility meets the criteria of the Ministry of Economic Affairs for Capital Investments (SEED) and confirmation of the economic benefits of the investment, which will be issued by the Enterprise Agency of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The investor receives a residence permit for a period of three years.



  • Requirements for the applicant to obtain a residence permit in the Netherlands:

    • prove solvency;
    • provided a real purpose for living in the country.
