Residence permit of Slovakia through investment

Slovakia offers investors to obtain a residence permit through making a financial investment in a business or opening a new company in Slovakia or registering as an individual entrepreneur.
For family members of the main applicant - spouse and children under eighteen years of age have the right to obtain a residence permit under the reunification program. The status of a resident of Slovakia is assigned for a period of two years with the possibility of further extension. Five years after the granting of a residence permit, an investor can apply for a permanent residence permit, and after three years, it is possible to apply for Slovak citizenship.

STAGES OF OBTAINING A RESIDENCE PERMIT IN SLOVAKIA. 1/ INVESTMENT:

Selection of an object for investment;

Preparation and submission of documents for a residence permit;

Obtaining a residence permit in Slovakia

The deadline for issuing a residence permit is accepted by the government of the country for 90 days.

OPTIONS FOR REGISTRATION OF A RESIDENCE PERMIT IN SLOVAKIA:

Through investments, a contribution to the authorized capital of the company. It is possible to open a business in Slovakia, and the minimum amount of financial capital is individual and directly depends on the chosen type of legal form of an open company. Investments in the authorized capital of a Slovak company are non-refundable.

Business investment.
The amount of investment from 10,000 euros for the registration of an individual entrepreneur. The applicant is required to confirm financial security by having sufficient funds in the bank account to provide security for the period of his stay in Slovakia. Investments under this option are partially returnable.

Minimum investment amount: from 10 000 euro

Receipt time: From 2/3 months



Cost of supporting the registration of a residence permit in Slovakia:

  • 35,000 euros per applicant;
  • 60,000 euros for spouse and applicant;
  • 80,000 euros for the applicant’s spouse and one child;
  • 100,000 euros for the applicant’s spouse and two children;
  • 25,000 for each additional family member.
